While I enjoy traditional photography, I have a passion for artwork, and grew up painting and drawing from as far back as I can recall. A lifetime of evolution and permutations has brought me to blend the two into a genre I affectionally call "conservation surrealism." My work is expressionistic in style.
A portion of all proceeds from print sales are donated to various wildlife organizations around the world.
My images are made in the wild and also in various sanctuaries. I practice a very serious ethic of "do not disturb" when it comes to animals, and thus use a superzoom lens and attempt to avoid altering their behaviors even in a sanctuary setting. In the wild, distance & the elements can be a challenge, but in a sanctuary, various types of glass and barriers present another.
If you see an image here, in another portfolio, or on social media that is mine, feel free to reach out. Typically prints can vary in size and media, from gallery quality photos, to canvas, metal, acrylic, wood, and from small to quite large.
Shipping is included in all continental USA pricing, and each piece will be shipped directly from the printer to the collector. While international shipping may be possible, this must be verified and priced with the printer prior to purchase. Feel free to reach out to me for pricing and customization, via the links on the contact page.
